Sahuarita is 7-0 against Flowing Wells since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Sahuarita Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Flowing Wells Caballeros at 6:00 p.m. Sahuarita is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.

Sahuarita took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Sabino a 2-0 shutout.

Zophia Martinez and Vanessa Wright scored both of Sahuarita's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Flowing Wells' offense. They came up short against Ironwood Ridge on Monday, falling 7-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Caballeros in their matchups with the Nighthawks: they've now lost seven in a row.

Sahuarita's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Flowing Wells, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4-2.

Everything went Sahuarita's way against Flowing Wells when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Sahuarita made off with a 5-0 win. Will Sahuarita repeat their success, or does Flowing Wells have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
