Baseball Recap: Oaks Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Springwood, Oaks was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on The Rock Academy Lions with a sharp 18-3 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Mighty Oaks' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Oaks' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for The Rock Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Oaks will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lafayette Christian at 5:30 p.m. on the 17th. As for The Rock Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hooper Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
