Basketball Recap: Jones Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Jones Christian Academy and West Florida Baptist Academy squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Jones Christian Academy had to settle for second. They took a 55-36 bruising from the West Florida Baptist Academy Conquerors. The match marked the Warrior's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Shepard Brown was his usual excellent self, putting up 18 points and six rebounds for West Florida Baptist Academy. Another player making a difference was Kaleb Wiggins, who posted 11 points along with five boards and four steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Jones Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for West Florida Baptist Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 23 of their last 25 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Jones Christian Academy nor West Florida Baptist Academy have any future games scheduled.
