Softball Game Preview: Chief Sealth Seahawks vs. Ingraham Rams

The Chief Sealth Seahawks will face off against the Ingraham Rams at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Chief Sealth is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Seattle Prep just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 30-10. While the Seahawks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 7-2 in the first period.

Chief Sealth saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Boisoneau, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. Layla Lief was another, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Ingraham fell victim to Bishop Blanchet and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 25-0 to the Bears. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Rams haven't been shut out since back in March.

Chief Sealth's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Ingraham, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.

Chief Sealth got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March against Ingraham by a conclusive 19-3 score. Do the Seahawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
