After a string of three wins, Lee-Scott Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Columbus Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

Columbus found their leader in sophomore Emma Cicora, who had four digs and two aces. Cicora has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last nine times she's played.

Lee-Scott Academy's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Columbus, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-18 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lee-Scott Academy will host Fayetteville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbus, they will challenge Hardaway at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
