Volleyball Recap: Columbus Takes a Loss

Columbus was the 2-1 winner over Omro when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals fell just short of the Foxes by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Mia Powers paced Columbus' offense, picking up 11 kills. Powers got some help from Macy Reetz and her 13 assists. Elizabeth Tracy controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Omro, their victory bumped their record up to 10-26.

Columbus has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Mayville on the 11th. As for Omro, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 0-0 loss against Berlin on the 11th.
