Volleyball Game Preview: Natick Redhawks vs. Walpole Timberwolves

The Natick Redhawks will square off against the Walpole Timberwolves at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Natick came up short against Brookline and fell 3-1. The Redhawks haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Walpole didn't have quite enough to beat Weymouth on Thursday and fell 3-2.

The 3-2 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Walpole lost were decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 23-25, 20-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Natick's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Walpole, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Natick skirted past Walpole 3-2 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Do the Redhawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Timberwolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
