Recap: Fredonia Hillbillies vs. Southwestern Trojans
The Fredonia Hillbillies can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Southwestern 82-46 at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 51-31.
Fredonia's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Davion White, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. Mike Hahn was another key contributor, going 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and 2 assists.
The win makes it two in a row for Fredonia and bumps their season record up to 11-6. As for Southwestern, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fredonia will take on Salamanca at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Salamanca has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 592 points over their last nine matches. As for Southwestern, they will be playing at home against Allegany-Limestone at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Southwestern is coming into the contest with four straight defeats at home, meaning Allegany-Limestone will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
