Softball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Jefferson's offense. They lost 19-0 to the Sickles Gryphons on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Dragons in their meetings with the Gryphons: they've now lost seven in a row.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Sickles, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Jefferson will square off against Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sickles, they will take on Lennard at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Longhorns' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Gryphons' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
