Football Recap: Village Comes Up Short

Village extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 2-5. They came up short against the Frassati Catholic Falcons, falling 51-26. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Frassati Catholic's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. They not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 13, 2024 (when they won 46-12).

Mikey Johnston was his usual excellent self, rushing for 353 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 17.7 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 81-yard run.

Village does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Frassati Catholic, they will challenge Bay Area Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
