Football Recap: Strong Effort on D from Terrell Golson and Carter Bennett Leads C.A. Johnson over Great Falls

C.A. Johnson won the last time they faced Great Falls and things went their way on Friday too. The Hornets snuck past the Red Devils with a 20-16 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

C.A. Johnson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Terrell Golson and Carter Bennett. Golson also rushed for 155 rushing yards, which is notable because C.A. Johnson is 2-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.

The win got C.A. Johnson back to even at 4-4. As for Great Falls, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, C.A. Johnson will challenge Lamar at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets will need to watch out since the Silver Foxes have now posted at least 31 points in their last five contests. As for Great Falls, they will square off against Lewisville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
