Soccer Game Preview: Wooster vs. Stow-Munroe Falls

The Wooster Generals will take on the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs in a tournament on Wednesday. Wooster's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Wednesday, Wooster didn't have quite enough to beat Jackson and fell 3-2. Wooster have struggled against Jackson recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Stow-Munroe Falls entered their tilt with North last Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Rangers a 4-0 shutout. Given Stow-Munroe Falls' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 117th, while North are ranked 265th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win got Stow-Munroe Falls back to even at 7-7-3. As for Wooster, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5-1.
