Preview: Warren Central vs. Center Hill
The Warren Central Vikings are on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Center Hill Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on February 13th. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Warren Central walked away with it. Their defense stepped up to hand the Rockets a 3-0 shutout on Saturday. The result kept Warren Central happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 21, 2023.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Jonah Artman and
Jacob Porter, who scored all three of Warren Central's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 17 so far this season.
Meanwhile, Center Hill has not lost a match since November 16, 2023, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. They put the hurt on Ridgeland with a sharp 3-0 victory.
Warren Central is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4-2 record this season. As for Center Hill, their win bumped their record up to 16-2-1.
