Volleyball Recap: Everett Alvarez Takes a Loss

Everett Alvarez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Greenfield Bruins. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bruins earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Everett Alvarez's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Greenfield, with the win, they broke their ten-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-17.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Everett Alvarez is set to take on their familiar foe Watsonville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Greenfield will square off against rival Monterey at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
