Baseball Recap: Simeon Comes Up Short

Simeon managed to slip by Lindblom the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wolverines lost 14-4 to the Eagles on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Simeon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dequan Luster, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-2. Luster is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season.

Simeon's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-2. As for Lindblom, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

While Simeon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
