Football Game Preview: Hamilton Huskies vs. Chandler Wolves + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Jax Sculley and Will Mencl are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Hamilton Huskies will take on the Chandler Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hamilton will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Hamilton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Mountain View by a score of 35-27.

Hamilton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jacob Brown out in front who rushed for 136 yards and a pair of touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards Brown has posted since back in November of 2024. Another receiver making a difference was Roye Oliver III, who picked up 145 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Chandler faced Brophy College Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wolves walked away with a 45-34 victory over the Broncos. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Broncos recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Mencl and Case Vanden Bosch. Mencl had a great game and rushed for 146 yards and three TDs while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Vanden Bosch was balling out in the loss, throwing for 372 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for 68 yards and one score.

Chandler's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Hamilton, their win bumped their record up to 11-0.

Hamilton strolled past Chandler in their previous meeting on November 7th by a score of 55-41. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Mencl, who threw for 238 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 37 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Huskies still be able to contain Mencl? There's only one way to find out.
