After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Bay finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Spanish Fort Toros, falling 11-1. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Bay saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lakeitha Sampson - 2025, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Sampson - 2025 has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Bay's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Spanish Fort, their victory bumped their record up to 13-1.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Bay Tigers face off against North Pike Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spanish Fort, they will be taking part in a tournament against North Bay Haven Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. North Bay Haven Academy will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Spanish Fort surely won't give up without a fight.
