Volleyball Recap: Osseo-Fairchild Takes a Loss

Osseo-Fairchild lost against Augusta back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Thunder fell just short of the Beavers by a score of 3-2. Thunder fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Beavers since Tuesday.

Osseo-Fairchild actually scored more points across those five sets (99-97), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-22, 17-25, 15-25, 25-20, 15-7.

Osseo-Fairchild's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Augusta, their victory ended an eight-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-9.

Coming up, Osseo-Fairchild will be playing in front of their home fans against Eleva-Strum at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Augusta, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Independence/Gilmanton on the 25th.
