Volleyball Recap: Ka'u Comes Up Short

If Ka'u was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Laupahoehoe last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans fell 3-1 to the Kamehameha Hawai'i Warriors on Wednesday. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Ka'u's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Kamehameha Hawai'i, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ka'u is set to face off against their familiar foe Waiakea at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Kamehameha Hawai'i will take on rival Pahoa at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
