Volleyball Recap: Spring Hill Comes Up Short

Spring Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Columbia Christian Crusaders, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Saturday.

While Spring Hill was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Columbia Christian's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14, 25-16.

Spring Hill's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Columbia Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Spring Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Columbia Christian, they will square off against Lafayette County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
