Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell just short of the Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Lebanon took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-13, 21-25, 23-25, 25-22, 15-8.

Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Guerin Catholic, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lebanon will head out to square off against Harrison at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Guerin Catholic, they are taking a road trip to face off against Herron at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Herron is coming into the matchup with four straight wins at home, so Guerin Catholic will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
