Passers beware: Luke Reed came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made seven total tackles (2.0 for loss) as Orange Beach took down Escambia County 29-22. We hope Reed's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Coming up, Reed and Orange Beach will venture away from home to challenge Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Makos will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 125 places lower in Alabama), but they're not letting that get them down.
