Baseball Recap: Kewaskum Wins Going Away Against Plymouth

Kewaskum's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Plymouth Panthers with a sharp 17-1 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Indians needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Kingston Grisolono made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). Grisolono was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple.

In other batting news, Andrew Reichert was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four runs, five RBI, and one double. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Liam Stoffel was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2.

Kewaskum always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Plymouth only posted an OBP of .333.

The victory got Kewaskum back to even at 1-1. As for Plymouth, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Kewaskum will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
