Baseball Game Preview: John Glenn Knights vs. Pierson Whalers

The John Glenn Knights will face off against the Pierson Whalers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

After dropping their season opener at home, Pierson is headed out to face a Knights team ready to give their home crowd a win. John Glenn fell just short of Southampton by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

John Glenn saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Dunn, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Pierson came up short against Babylon on Friday and fell 6-1. The loss put an end to the Whalers' undefeated start to the season.
