Basketball Recap: Dawson County Comes Up Short

Dawson County was the 50-48 winner over Pickens when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Dawson County Tigers had to suffer through a 77-40 loss at the hands of the Pickens Dragons. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-14.

Dawson County has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Pickens, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 17-0.

Dawson County will face off against Johnson at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Dawson County is facing Johnson at the right time seeing as Johnson is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Pickens, they will head out to take on Chestatee at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
