Baseball Recap: Corpus Christi Moody Comes Up Short

Corpus Christi Moody saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ernesto Gonzalez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That run was Gonzalez's first of the season.

Corpus Christi Moody now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lockhart, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corpus Christi Moody will venture away from home to take on Gregory-Portland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lockhart, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lions challenge the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
