Volleyball Game Preview: Lexington Wildcats vs. River Bluff Gators

Lexington has won four straight games at home, while River Bluff has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Wildcats will welcome the Gators at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Tuesday, Lexington got the win against White Knoll by a conclusive 3-0.

Lexington never let White Knoll on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-23, 25-13.

River Bluff not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 9th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Dutch Fork with a sharp 3-0 win.

One reason for the win was River Bluff's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-14, 25-12.

River Bluff's victory bumped their record up to 28-12. As for Lexington, they now have a winning record of 17-16.
