Holly is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Friday. They took a blow against McClave, falling 60-6. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado football rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Cardinals are ranked fourth).

Meanwhile, after soaring to 40 points the game before, Rocky Ford was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They had to suffer through a 54-8 loss at the hands of Las Animas. The Meloneers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-8.

Holly's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Rocky Ford, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
