Grant County barely beat Lloyd Memorial the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Braves never let the Juggernauts get on the board and left with a 7-0 win on Saturday. Considering the Braves have won seven matchups by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Luke Williams, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Another player making a difference was Seth Tucker, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Grant County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in three consecutive games.

Grant County pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Lloyd Memorial, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Juggernauts beat Grant County by a score of 10-4 later that day.
