Owyhee entered their tilt with Mountain View on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mavericks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 two weeks ago.

Owyhee got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sophie Walker out in front who had 11 digs and two aces. Bella Hordemann was another key player, getting ten digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Owyhee was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are 11-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Owyhee's victory bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Mountain View, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-16-2 record this season.

Owyhee has already played their next match (against Rocky Mountain), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Mountain View, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Boise on the 21st.
