Volleyball Recap: Gordon Central Takes a Loss

Gordon Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Fannin County Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Gordon Central was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring zero points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0.

Gordon Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Fannin County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-13.

Coming up, Gordon Central will face off against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fannin County, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Chattooga on the 18th.
