Football Game Preview: St. Elizabeth Vikings vs. Brandywine Bulldogs

The St. Elizabeth Vikings will take on the Brandywine Bulldogs at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. St. Elizabeth will be strutting in after a victory while Brandywine will be coming in after a defeat.

St. Elizabeth is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Dickinson 58-0 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won seven in a row.

St. Elizabeth got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cole Andrews out in front who threw for 98 yards and three TDs on only nine passes. What's more, Andrews racked up 142.6 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.

St. Elizabeth didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of James Adair and Nicholas Florencio. Adair got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Brandywine's offense. They took a blow against Howard on Friday, falling 52-0. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

St. Elizabeth's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Brandywine, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
