Football Game Preview: Wayne Valley vs. West Milford

On Friday Wayne Valley take on West Milford at 6:30 PM. Wayne Valley have bulldozed their previous three opponents, so West Milford might have their hands full.

Wayne Valley put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They steamrollered Indian Hills 42-0. Senior Nick Trani was the offensive standout of the match for Wayne Valley, as he rushed for 214 yards and 4 touchdowns. Trani has been a consistent playmaker for Wayne Valley as this was the 4th good game in a row from him.

Meanwhile, we expected West Milford to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked Wayne Hills, and they did. West Milford suffered a grim 15-42 defeat to Wayne Hills. West Milford were down by 9-42 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Wayne Valley's victory lifted them to 3-2 while West Milford's defeat dropped them down to 3-2. We'll find out if Wayne Valley can add another positive mark to their record or if West Milford can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Wayne Valley's step.
