North Murray was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Murray County Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mountaineers of the 8-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
North Murray saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jazmyn Wright, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Wright has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive pitching appearances.
