Ridgway won the last time they faced Olathe and Sophia Scranton did her part to make sure it happened again. The Demons secured a 35-31 W over the Pirates on Friday with plenty of help from Scranton, who shot 60% from the field to rack up 20 points in addition to eight steals and five boards. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 24 times she's played.

Ridgway now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Olathe, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Ridgway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 30-14 victory against Ouray on the 6th. As for Olathe, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Caprock Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
