Our Lady of the Sacred Heart proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Avonworth Antelopes. The win was familiar territory for the Chargers, who have now won three matches in a row.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Our Lady of the Sacred Heart who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 17-25, 25-21, 16-25, 15-10.

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Avonworth, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against New Brighton at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Avonworth, they will square off against Hopewell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
