Softball Game Preview: David Anderson Blue Devils vs. Southern Indians

For the first time this season, David Anderson will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will square off against the Southern Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. David Anderson comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

David Anderson is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They fell 12-9 to Carrollton on Saturday.

Abby Ammon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Another player making a difference was Kyler Malone, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Southern lost 19-3 to East Canton on Tuesday.

David Anderson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Southern, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

David Anderson might still be hurting after the 10-2 defeat they got from Southern when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can David Anderson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
