Football Recap: Grainger Comes Up Short

Grainger lost against Cherokee back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Grizzlies were outmatched by the Chiefs and fell 60-30. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grainger's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Cherokee, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Grainger will challenge rival Northview Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cherokee is set to square off against their familiar foe Elizabethton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
