Volleyball Recap: Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Falls Short of Westbrook-Walnut Grove in the Playoffs

Tracy-Milroy-Balaton and Westbrook-Walnut Grove squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Tracy-Milroy-Balaton had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2016.

While Tracy-Milroy-Balaton ultimately came up short, they really made Westbrook-Walnut Grove work, particularly in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 20-25, 25-16, 26-24.

Tracy-Milroy-Balaton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Westbrook-Walnut Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Tracy-Milroy-Balaton nor Westbrook-Walnut Grove have any future games scheduled.
