Volleyball Recap: Orcas Island's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Orcas Island not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since November 7, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Auburn Adventist Falcons as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Vikings, who have now won three contests in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Orcas Island was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-11, 25-15.

Orcas Island's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Auburn Adventist, they dropped their record down to 4-10-1 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Orcas Island didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against La Conner on the 6th. Auburn Adventist does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
