Softball Recap: David Anderson Wins Going Away Against Catholic Central

David Anderson won the last time they faced Catholic Central and things went their way on Thursday too. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 12-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Kamryn Peruchetti was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Abby Ammon was a standout: she scored three runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-5. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Emelia Cook was another key player, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4.

David Anderson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

David Anderson's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Catholic Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
