On Friday, Wayzata faced St. Michael-Albertville in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Wayzata Trojans breezed past the St. Michael-Albertville Knights to the tune of 90-59. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matches by 25 points or more this season.

Wayzata pushed their record up to 20-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29 points. As for St. Michael-Albertville, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.

Looking ahead, Wayzata will square off against DeLaSalle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. DeLaSalle knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 24 contests -- so hopefully Wayzata likes a good challenge. St. Michael-Albertville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
