Mohawk Area got themselves on the board against Freedom Area on Friday, but Freedom Area never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 29-0 victory over the Bulldogs. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

Mohawk Area got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bobby Fadden out in front who threw for 145 yards and two TDs while completing 87.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 54 yards. Fadden's passing game has become a key predictor of the Warriors' success: the team is 3-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-4 otherwise. Joe Nail was in the mix too, providing Mohawk Area with two scores.

Mohawk Area's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Freedom Area, they dropped their record down to 4-5 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
