After having lost a blowout in their previous game against MacArthur, Classen SAS was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Grant Generals. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Generals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Gavin Peterson was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Corbett, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run.

Classen SAS was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Classen SAS' victory bumped their record up to 2-10. As for Grant, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Classen SAS beat Grant by a score of 10-6 later that day.
