Football Recap: Rosemount Triumphs

Rosemount was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They managed a 21-17 victory over the Prior Lake Lakers. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but the Irish were the (much) better team in the second half.

The win made it two in a row for Rosemount and bumps their season record up to 2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 17 points in those games. As for Prior Lake, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Rosemount will head out to square off against Shakopee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Prior Lake, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Minnetonka at 7:00 p.m. The matchup will give the Lakers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
