Basketball Game Preview: Marshall Bobcats vs. Jasper Pirates

The Marshall Bobcats will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Jasper Pirates at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Marshall saw some tournament action back in November. They were outmatched by Jasper and fell 62-24. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jasper's win came from a few key players Marshall will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Tyson Davis, who posted 12 points. Those 12 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Williams, who scored ten points.

The victory (which was Jasper's ninth in a row) raised their record to 13-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.3 points. As for Marshall, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
