Basketball Game Preview: ED White Commanders vs. Paxon School For Advanced Studies Golden Eagles + Official Tickets

The ED White Commanders will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Paxon School For Advanced Studies Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

ED White is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against St. Augustine. The Commanders simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Yellow Jackets 59-20. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-11.

ED White's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zariona Thomas, who posted 12 points. What's more, Thomas also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Imani Henderson, who had 11 points.

Meanwhile, Paxon School For Advanced Studies won against Raines on Tuesday with 53 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles secured a 53-48 W over Bishop Snyder. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Eagles.

ED White didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Paxon School For Advanced Studies in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 67-61 victory.
