There's no place like home for Jackson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mariner Marauders on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 2nd.

Jackson was led to victory by Claire Swander and Hannah Jumpawong. Swander had seven digs and three aces, while Jumpawong had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces Swander has posted since back in September of 2024.

They weren't the only good servers: Jackson was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Jackson's record now sits at 6-11. As for Mariner, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.

Jackson and Mariner could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. The Timberwolves (ranked 198th) will meet Stanwood (ranked 44th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mariner will face off against Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (303 vs. 121).
