Baseball Recap: Chatham Takes a Loss

Berlin/New Lebanon hit Chatham with a four-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain Lions. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chatham saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Wilber, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Chatham now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Berlin/New Lebanon, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Chatham didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-2 defeat against Coxsackie-Athens on the 14th. As for Berlin/New Lebanon, they will be playing at home against Schenectady at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
