Soccer Recap: Central Columbia Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central Columbia). They never let the Mifflinburg Wildcats get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Thursday. Jameson Lapos was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Central Columbia, bringing their record up to 7-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five contests. As for Mifflinburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
